Jo and Raissa in Forgotten Island

Jo and Raissa are the reason Forgotten Island is about Memories instead of a generic tycoon drop. In the DreamWorks film they are childhood friends who land on Nakali and risk forgetting each other. In the Roblox experience you play the loop that makes that fear mechanical: pick up Memories, bank them, fill an album, and do not let Aswang turn a friendship theme into an empty page. This page sits under the Players Hub because the roster starts with the two people the island is trying to keep.

H.E.R. voices Jo. Liza Soberano voices Raissa. Those are film credits, and they are the names the official thumbs keep putting next to the Jeepney camp. The game does not need you to recast them. It needs you to treat the album like their promise: if it goes blank, the run failed even if you had fun dying.

Who they are on Nakali

Jo reads as the loyal, artistic half of the pair — the one who would rather stay than let the friendship thin out. Raissa reads as the planner, the one already pointed at a life that might leave the island behind. You do not have to main a dialogue tree to use that split. In the tycoon loop it becomes two tempos:

• Jo tempo: stay on the beach a little longer, grab the First Memory, make sure the Jeepney is actually ready.
• Raissa tempo: have a route. Beach, treeline, ash. Bank on purpose. Do not “see what happens” with a Mythic in hand.

Both tempos fail if you skip how to play. The film is the feeling. The experience is the chores that protect the feeling.

Why the album is their mechanic

Memories in this game are not flavor text. They are the pickup. Fragments are the spend. The album is the long record. Jo and Raissa’s story is “do not forget,” so the shame of a wipe is supposed to sting. That is why Mythic sits at S on the memory tier list and why the badge “Oof that’s gotta sting” exists. You are not just losing a drop. You are dropping a page they would have kept.

Play them as a checklist:

1. Spawn. Accept the R15 morph. Get the First Memory before inland greed. Getting started if the beach still confuses you.
2. Bank. The Jeepney is their bus. Slots first, per the Jeepney tiers.
3. Only then walk toward the threats named on Aswang and Manang.
4. Roll bracelet charms after storage is not a joke. The bracelet is a film object with power through memory; in-game it is luck, not a skip button. See charms.

How they sit next to the pack

Raww and the wild pack are the company Jo and Raissa keep when the island is too big for two. VIP is the wolf pack pass, convenience, not a rewrite of who the protagonists are. Yum Yum Bird with the hat and bucket shows up in official thumbs around camp. Treat the bird as Nakali color sitting near Jo and Raissa, not as a third protagonist. Lola Fatima (Dolly de Leon) is family gravity in the film; Datu (Jo Koy) and King Truffle Wuffle (Ronny Chieng) are the wider voice slate. They matter on the movie page. They do not change the first Jeepney purchase.

Playing with friends without losing the plot

Eight players per server. You can run the beach like a crowd. Jo and Raissa still play better as a pair of jobs: one person watches storage and bank timing, one person watches the route and the Aswang tell. If both of you chase Mythic, you are both Raissa on a bad day. If both of you never leave the sand, you are both Jo with no film to finish.

Hold the album the way Jo and Raissa hold each other in the film: if the pages go blank, the run was never finished, and the Jeepney was only a bench.
